Space 220 is a multi-sensory immersive dining experience where guests travel to space to enjoy their meal. Guests are escorted onto space transports and delivered to the dining area, 220 miles above Earth, where they can enjoy a view of Earth’s glowing horizon.

Working with Walt Disney Imagineering, AOA was responsible for the design and management of all the show-related content. This included design, procurement, and installation of all show set, show action, and audio-visual packages. AOA’s role began with the creation of design development, show action, and audio-visual packages, and progressed into cost estimation, procurement, fabrication, and installation. We provided technical direction and show project management for the restaurant’s many special effects systems, including the enormous panoramic windows that reveal a projected show of astronomical wonders and changing weather. AOA’s ultimate responsibility was to represent and maintain the design intent of the project through direct coordination with our team and partners.
